How does Convo access my Zoom calls?

Convo runs locally on your computer, capturing Zoom system audio. It never joins as a visible bot—other participants don't see it. Audio processes on your device before syncing to Asana.

Will other people on the Zoom call know I'm using this?

No. Unlike Fireflies or Otter, Convo doesn't add a "recording bot" to your Zoom call. It's completely invisible. Only you know it's running.

How does the data actually get to Asana?

Convo connects to Asana through automation platforms — Zapier, Make, or IFTTT. After your Zoom meeting, Convo triggers your configured automation, which sends the data you've chosen (transcripts, summaries, action items) to Asana. Set it up once, then it runs automatically. How does Convo know who to assign tasks to in Asana?

It listens for "John will..." or "@Sarah can you..." on Zoom and maps names to Asana user accounts. You can review assignments before they're created.

Can it update existing Asana tasks or only create new ones?

Both. If a Zoom discussion references a Asana task ID or name, Convo updates that task. Otherwise, it creates new tasks with proper linking.

What happens if the AI misinterprets a task on Zoom?

You get a review screen before Asana sync. Edit the task, change assignees, adjust due dates. Over time, corrections train Convo to be more accurate for your team.
